The Philippine Statistics Authority conducted a comprehensive pretest operation for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in two barangays in Guiguinto, Bulacan, from 13 to 18 November 2023. The primary objective of this activity was to ensure the efficacy of the updated questionnaire and mobile applications to be used in preparation for the anticipated 2024 CBMS Nationwide Rollout.

Through Computer-Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI), the PSA was able to cover a total of 317 households in Barangays Daungan and Malis. These barangays were selected as representative samples of urban and rural areas for testing the questionnaire, allowing the consideration of a diverse range of community dynamics.
