His political career took off in 1997 when he was elected as the Barangay Captain of Tabunan, Almeria. Demonstrating effective leadership and a deep understanding of the community’s needs, he garnered the trust and admiration of his constituents.

Building on his successes, Mayor Jaguros served as the Vice-Mayor of Almeria from 1998 to 2007 and again from 2010 to 2016.
