The Local Government Unit of of Almeria has successfully acquired two brand-new dump trucks to enhance its service capabilities in solid waste management and infrastructure projects. These vehicles, delivered on November 27, 2024, were procured through the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) amounting to ₱1.8 million, with additional funding allocated by the Local Government Unit (LGU).

The acquisition was made possible after Almeria earned the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for Calendar Year 2023, an award given to LGUs that excel in accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery. The newly delivered dump trucks bear the official seals of the DILG and the Municipality of Almeria, symbolizing the municipality’s continued commitment to public service excellence.
