Manila, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the discontinuation of its flights to Beijing and Guangzhou, China. The decision comes amid declining demand for travel to these destinations.
PAL’s last flight to Beijing will be on October 22, while the final flight to Guangzhou is scheduled for October 8. However, the airline will continue to operate daily flights to Shanghai Pudong.
The move is attributed to market conditions and a significant drop in passenger demand.
In related news, PAL Express will take over the Manila-Cambodia route starting October 29. The route will be serviced by four weekly flights, using A321 aircraft.
