Mayor Richard Jaguros presided over a joint meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), and Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) on August 7, 2024.  

The meeting, held at the Municipal Annex Hall, focused on evaluating the municipality’s peace and order situation, the implementation of the Peace and Order Public Safety Plan (POPS), and the progress of the Drug Clearing Program. Updates on the Comprehensive Barangay Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) and the declaration of stable internal peace and security were also discussed.
