The Biliran Bridge, which links the provinces of Leyte and Biliran, has temporarily restricted access to heavy equipment vehicles due to unusual wave-like movements observed on the structure.

Footage circulating on Monday captured the bridge swaying noticeably, with visible movement of its steel components.

In response, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has limited access to light vehicles, such as SUVs and passenger vans. Buses are allowed to cross but must first drop off passengers as a precautionary measure.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure the safety of motorists and the integrity of the bridge.
