The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Almeria recently collaborated to enhance the conflict resolution and peace-building skills of barangay officials. A two-day Lupong Tagapamayapa Skills Enhancement Training was conducted at the Municipal Annex Hall, gathering Punong Barangays, Barangay Secretaries, and Lupon Members from August 8-9, 2024.

The training equipped barangay officials with essential tools and knowledge to effectively address conflicts within their communities. By strengthening their capabilities, the DILG and Almeria LGU aim to promote peaceful coexistence and harmonious development in the municipality.
