The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is urging the public to be vigilant against fraudulent emails purporting to be from their Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB).

In an advisory released today, the CSC clarified that csc.contactcenterngbayan@gmail.com is not their official email address.

The legitimate email address for the CCB is email@contactcenterngbayan.gov.ph.

The CSC advises the public to be cautious of any email claiming to be from the CCB and to only respond to emails sent from email@contactcenterngbayan.gov.ph.

Here are some additional tips to avoid phishing scams:

Do not click on suspicious links or attachments in emails.

Be wary of emails that create a sense of urgency or pressure.

Do not provide personal information, such as passwords or bank account details, through email.

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of an email, contact the sender directly through a verified phone number or website.

The CSC encourages the public to report any suspicious emails to them through the following channels:

Facebook Messenger: /civilservicegovph

SMS: 0908-881-6565

Email: email@contactcenterngbayan.gov.ph
