Top 5 Performing Municipal Project Monitoring Committee (PMC)

Almeria’s Municipal PMC was recognized for its exceptional implementation and monitoring of local development projects. This award reflects the LGU’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in ensuring the success of government-initiated programs.

Top 8 Overall Performing Municipal Government in Eastern Visayas

Almeria earned its place among the top-performing municipalities in the region, demonstrating excellence across various aspects of local governance. This distinction is a testament to the collective efforts of the LGU and its community in pursuing sustainable development and progress.

The prestigious honors were received by Honorable Mayor Richard D. Jaguros, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Bernarda M. Saboy, Liga ng mga Barangay President Jasmin T. Jaguros, and Barangay Caucab Punong Barangay and Project Monitoring Committee Member Honorable Willy Cabuquin. Their presence at the event underscored the collaborative leadership and commitment of Almeria’s officials to drive the municipality’s progress.

The awards, presented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in partnership with the Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC), were  conferred by Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe. This year’s theme, “Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahan” (Decent, Excellent, and Reliable), underscores the importance of integrity and excellence in local governance.
